Our Mission
At Dopamine Finds, we're pioneering a new narrative in relationships with our concept of 'interneuro' - a term that encapsulates the vibrant spectrum of experiences shared between neurodivergent and neurotypical partners. This term emerged from our journey, particularly as we delve into Rachel's life with autism/ ADHD (AuDHD) and her interactions with her neurotypical partner, Luis.
We're here to address the challenges and celebrate the achievements unique to these partnerships. By highlighting practical solutions and sharing insights, we aim to cater to both neurodivergent and neurotypical needs, fostering a sense of inclusion and understanding.
Beyond a brand, Dopamine Finds is a movement striving to celebrate diversity, encourage 'interneuro' comprehension, and simplify lives through thoughtfully selected products and ideas. Our journey is about more than just facilitating convenience; it's about building a community where every 'interneuro' relationship is acknowledged and supported, redefining inclusivity with every discovery. Join us in this mission to enrich lives and enhance understanding, one dopamine-inducing find at a time.
Our Story
Dopamine Finds was born out of Rachel's personal experiences with ADHD and her recent discovery of being autistic, alongside the support and collaboration of her partner, Luis, whom she has been dating since July 2020. Rachel's lifelong special interest is shopping (which is prob just another reason she went undiagnosed), but like all special interests she loves to talk about shopping (the research, the deals, the FINDS) for literally anything. Rachel, being 100% Coptic Egyptian (yes that is what the 23andme said; waste of money), and Luis, being Puerto Rican, feel strongly about diversity and representation on social media. We feel like there is not enough support for interneuro relationships and that the AuDHD and Neurotypical experience is not discussed enough. We believe that by embracing and celebrating diversity, we can further promote inclusivity and create a more compassionate society or at least a more educated one.
As Luis pursues medical school, his dedication to mental health advocacy and fostering a compassionate society remains strong. Dopamine Finds continues its mission to bridge the divide between neurodivergent and neurotypical societies, one product at a time. We invite others to join in empowering individuals, challenging stereotypes, and celebrating neurodiversity, contributing to a world where every person is valued for their unique selves.
